Laila Edwards discusses Travis Kelce's secret heartfelt gesture during Olympics

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were devoted to the Olympics this year - but besides their on-screen support, the NFL star secretly helped out behind-the-scenes as well.

Laila Edwards, the 22-year-old hockey player from Cleveland Heights, who just won the gold medal in Milano Cortina for team USA, spoke about his support in a new interview.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end personally made a donation of $10,000 to Edwards' GoFundMe where she was raising around $50,000 to cover the costs for her family's travel to Italy, as well as other essential expenses.

Not only did Travis send a significant amount, but also asked her family to let him cover the rest if they didn't reach the full amount.

While earlier news reports had considered the donation a joint endeavour between Travis and his brother Jason Kelce, Edwards clarified that Travis was the one who made the generous gesture.

As for Jason and his wife Kylie Kelce, the hockey star noted that they attended her games and showed unwavering support for her as well.

Travis himself was unable to attend, she added, due to the Eras Tour performer's other commitments but both of them sent their well wishes.
