Kanye West’s comeback concert suffered a setback because of technical difficulties with the set up which caused an on-stage disagreement with his crew.

The 48-year-old rapper was not pleased with the lighting in his show and had to pause the songs several times to tell the technicians off.

During his song Good Life, Ye told the crew, “Yo, pause, pause, pause. I don’t like these when the lights move like that,” adding that it doesn’t go with the stage.

The Carnival hitmaker continued the song but the light effects again came back, upon which he had to stop again and say, “You see that, when it does that. Don’t do that. That s–t corny yo.”

Unlike the musician himself, fans appeared to enjoy the music and vibe with the lights, but the moment later went viral on social media because of the spontaneous humour in the situation.

As West stopped and asked the workers to change the lighting, his mic continued to work with autotune and the words came out like song lyrics, which created an almost comedic effect.

Disturbed by the situation himself, the God’s Plan singer said, “What is this like an SNL skit or something? Stop doing the vibrating Vegas lights, bro. We went over this in rehearsal.”

The Grammy winner then asked for the initial effects back and finished the song.

Despite the few frustrating moments for West, the comeback show excited fans beyond measure as they enjoyed their favourite artist’s live performance after a long while.
