Prince Harry spoke out for the first time after Donald Trump dragged his wife, Meghan Markle, during media talks.
The Duke of Sussex stepped out on the second day of his surprise Ukraine visit to continue his mother, Princess Diana's, meaningful mission.
Harry joined The Halo Trust Ukraine to inspect how technology is changing mine clearance on the frontlines.
During his key visit, the former working royal said, "It’s amazing to see technology transform the work of the HALO Trust—making mine clearance smarter, faster and safer."
Recalling his mother's work for landmines, Harry shared that it is quite unfortunate that in the past, "deminers carried out their work on their hands and knees to uncover hidden explosives."
Now, with the advancement in technology, drones, AI and robots have been used for "greater precision and protection."
Harry hailed this lifesaving progress made by HALO, which is helping farmers to plant and harvest without fear.
"I’m incredibly proud to support this new generation of mine clearance. Ukraine is still at war, but HALO’s work brings safety and hope," King Charles' son stated.
It is important to note that Prince Harry's statement came after Trump once again made a comment about the Duchess of Sussex.
While responding to Harry's plea to intervene and help Ukraine, the US President said, "How's he doing? How's his wife? Please give her my regards."
He further said that Harry is not speaking for the UK...but he appreciates his advice, seemingly a dig at the Sussexes.
