It was another packed day of duty for Princess Anne, whose schedule on 6 May spanned international sport and support for Britain’s farming community.

As evening fell, Anne headed to 3 Whitehall Court, where, as Honorary Member of the Farmers Club, she presented the 2026 Pinnacle Awards.

The ceremony celebrated excellence and innovation within British agriculture and rural industries, sectors the Princess has consistently championed throughout her royal career.

Upon arrival, she was received by Rupert Goodman, Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London, before meeting guests and award recipients from across the farming and food production community.

Over the years, she has backed rural organisations, farming charities, and food sustainability initiatives, earning widespread respect from the agricultural sector.

Earlier, she attended an Executive Board Meeting in her role as Chairman of the International Olympic Committee Members Election Commission.

Joining committee members overseas via video link, the Princess continued her decades long involvement with the Olympic movement, a connection that stretches back to her own appearance as an Olympian at the 1976 Montreal Games.

Later in London, the Princess Royal attended the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery Coronation Salute in Hyde Park, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the formation of the famed “Riding Troop.”
