Princes William, Harry joint appearance looms as Diana charity issues update

There have been lingering hopes of that Prince William and Prince Harry could be brought together for one meaningful event, which could eventually heal the rift between the brothers.

Princess Diana, who died in a tragic car crash in Paris in 1996, will have her 29th death anniversary by the end of August, around the same time Harry moves back to England with Meghan and their two children.

The late Princess of Wales remains the one final string emotionally connecting the estranged brothers together. With the milestone death anniversary for the royal coming up next year and speculations growing, the charity, Diana Award, issued an update about the upcoming award ceremony.

Diana Award, the only charity to have William and Harry both as active patrons, shared a “save the date”.

“Get ready to join us online for the 2026 Virtual Diana Award Ceremony as we celebrate a remarkable new cohort of young changemakers from around the world,” the message read.

“Premiering virtually on 4 November 2026, this special online event will honour 200 Diana Award Recipients whose dedication to social action is creating lasting impact in their communities and beyond.”

It continued, “Inspired by the belief of the late Diana, Princess of Wales, that ‘young people have the power to change the world’, these outstanding young leaders are turning compassion into action and making a real difference every day.”

They added the people from around the world can join in the “inspiring celebration of youth-led change”.

It is unclear if Prince William and Prince Harry would be attending or making an appearance. However, it is too soon to assume that both brothers would be present at the same time. Although, there is likely a plan in place to navigate the awkward situation.
