NEW DELHI: Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said Wednesday that there was no likelihood of Pakistan winning a war against India in his lifetime.
The Indian prime minister said this in response to a statement reported by a leading Pakistani daily which quoted Prime Minister Sharif as saying that Kashmir was a flashpoint and could trigger forth a fourth war between the two countries.
A spokesman of the Prime Minister Office said the news item appearing in the newspaper was fabricated and PM Nawaz Sharif never said the Kashmir issue could trigger a war between the countries.
