Rangers, police arrest 57 suspects

Karachi: Rangers and police on Saturday arrested 57 suspects during several raids carried out in the city. Weapons were also recovered from the possession of the suspects during raids.

According to Rangers Spokesman Major Sibtain the arrested criminals were involved in different crimes including targeted killing extortion kidnapping for Ransom and other heinous crimes He said that some of the criminals belonged to Lyari gang war. Moreover weapons and drugs were also recovered from their custody.

Meanwhile, West Zone police also carried out raids in several parts of the west zone and arrested at least 20 criminals. The suspects were shifted to different police stations for further investigations.
