GTA 6's ‘Extended Look’ premiere on Netflix is slated for a global release today, Thursday, August 27, 2026.

After a wait of 13 long years, Rockstar Games is finally set to drop the first-ever exclusive gameplay trailer of what has been described as the game of the decade: Grand Theft Auto VI.

The exclusive trailer of GTA 6 will premiere on Netflix at 3 PM ET on August 27, following a delay of 6 hours, on the Rockstar Games official YouTube channel and on the GTA 6 website at 9 PM ET.

The last week, Rockstar was hit with a major gameplay leak by an unknown hacker, CyberLeek.

The GTA 6 gameplay leaks left Take-Two, the parent company of Rockstar Games, scrambling to find out what went wrong.

Rockstar Games a day earlier released a statement first time about the alleged GTA 6 gameplay leaks, describing the leaks as “heartbreaking for their team".

The GTA 6 publisher also issued an apology to fans for a 13-year wait, which was nothing short of a frustrating experience for the gaming community, but expressed hopes that the release would “exceed their expectations”.

After 13 years, two delays, GTA 6 fans can now expect the first showcase of GTA 6 gameplay today, with the launch slated for November 19, 2026.
