Meghan Markle makes decisive move to secure position with royals

Meghan Markle is taking drastic measures to ensure that there is not a repeat of security breach, especially if it is in connection with the royals.

The Duchess of Sussex had landed in a rather awkward situation just weeks prior of the family’s return to Britain. 

Following the private meeting with King Charles in the summer, sources noted that the Sussexes were strictly asked to keep details a secret, otherwise any chances of reconciliation will be gone.

However, Martha Stewart, who had been at a same dinner as Meghan, suggested that the Duchess was talking about her Highgrove meeting at a dinner table. This had caused a new layer of concern at the Palace, so much so the host at the dinner had to dismiss something like that happened.

Hence, the As Ever founder is “deadly serious” as he begins to issue NDAs for events. “If there’s any chance private or royal matters will be discussed, she wants an NDA in place before she even says yes. No signature, no Meghan,” a source told Rob Shuter.

“This might be normal around Hollywood celebrities, but asking British friends to sign legal paperwork before dinner is going to raise eyebrows,” the insider continued. “People want a glass of wine and a laugh — not a contract.”

Harry and Meghan are rebuilding their lives in Britain and this move may cost them favours at a critical time. But, Meghan is “not taking chances anymore”.
