Benjamin Satterley, known as Pac, reportedly found slumped in car outside Illinois restaurant

Benjamin Satterley, the pro wrestling star known as Pac, was found dead in Illinois on Sunday, September 27, a day after his final match at the All Out event in Chicago.

Now the details have started to surface of what actually happened to the wrestling star, who died at age 40, sending shockwaves through the wrestling world.

The Des Plaines Police Department has ruled out any foul play and said the circumstances surrounding Satterley’s death were not treated as suspicious.

The police officials have said the cause of death would be determined by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office, as the initial autopsy report is awaiting.

Satterley was discovered unresponsive in a car outside of a restaurant in Illinois on Sunday, September 27, at around 4 p.m. local time, per California Post.

The outlet cited a 911 call and added that an official who arrived on the scene reportedly said Satterley was dead on arrival.

All Elite Wrestling announced the death of Satterley on a late Sunday in a post on social media.

“All Elite Wrestling is saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka Pac,” the statement read.

A native of Necastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and competed in the world’s leading wrestling organisations, earning a huge fan base who loved his high-flying moves and stunning in-ring ability.

He signed with the AEW in 2019 and went on to compete in some of the most famous matches of AEW history.

Satterley had challenged Andrade El Idolo for the AEW National Championship at All Out, which took place in NOW Arena in Foffman Estate, Illinois, on Saturday, September 26.

He was a two-time Trios champion and the inaugural all-atlantic champion.

Before wrestling in AEW, he remained associated with WWE and was known as Adrian Neville.
