Engaged Lil Wayne introduces fiancée Madi Cannon: 'I'm marrying this one'
The rapper confirms he's engaged just two months after revealing he's going through a breakup

Lil Wayne is ready to tie the knot with his girlfriend Madi Cannon.
The rapper — whose real name is Dwayne Carter Jr. — confirmed his engagement while congratulating fellow rapper B.G. for his own engagement to Brooke Jones.
In a video shared to B.G’s Instagram on Tuesday, September 29, Wayne said "congratulations" before turning the camera to Cannon. “And I’m marrying this one — this is Madison. This is my fiancée.”
The news comes as somewhat of a shock considering that Lil Wayne recently announced he’s going through a breakup. In a July livestream, he denied rumours that he’s engaged, saying, “I had a beautiful thing going on with an amazing person, but, obviously, due to the validity of the temperature of today’s crazy world and culture, I considered, I don’t want to be such a burden on such an amazing person. So, we decided to part. Sucks.”
The five-time Grammy winner is already a father of four. He shares daughter Reginae, 27, and sons Dwayne, 17, Kameron, 17, and Neal, 16, with four different women: Antonia “Toya” Johnson, Sarah Vivan, Lauren London and Nivea.
