21 terrorists killed, 8 soldiers martyred in Khyber Agency

RAWALPINDI: Twenty one terrorists were killed while several injured during a major clearance operation in spinqamar area of Khyber Agency on Wednesday.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations, eight soldiers embraced shahdat during fierce fighting and exchange of fire with terrorists.

Meanwhile, funeral prayers of martyred soldiers was offered late night at Peshawar Garrison.

COAS Gen Raheel Sharif and other military officials attended the Namaz-e-Janaza of shaheeds.

Later, bodies of shaheeds were sent to their ancestral towns where they will be buried with full military honour.

COAS also visited CMH Peshawar and inquired about well being of injured soldiers of Operation Zarb-e-Azb and Khyber.
