CUTTACK: Pakistan has set a target of 193 for India to win the match to decide the 7th position in the ICC women’s world cup match.
Winning the toss and electing to bat first Pakistan looked in trouble early on as they lost openers Nahida Khan and Sidra Ameen cheaply. But then the fifth wicket stand between Nain Abidi and Nida Dar produced 80 runs and took Pakistan to a competitive and respectable total.
Nida Dar remained the highest scorer with an undefeated 68 with 7x4s and Nain Abidi scored 58 with 5 hits to the fence.
N Niranjana with 3-35 for India kept the Pakistani batters under check. J Goswami with 2-17 also bowled well.
