Accused killed in Lyari police encounter, 4 hurt in other incidents

KARCHI: An accused has been killed in alleged police encounter in Baghdadi area of Lyari while four people including a woman sustained injuries in separate incidents of firing in the metropolis.

According to police, the accused killed in an alleged police encounter was affiliated with gang war elements.

Meanwhile, three people were injured in a firing incident in Godhra, triggering tension in the area. Rescue sources said that more police force has been called in to normalize the situation in the area.

A woman was injured in another incident of firing on Jamshed road.
