Suicide attack at checkpost in Spinwam, North Waziristan

WAZIRISTAN: A suicide attack was foiled in Spinwam, North Waziristan on Tuesday by security personnel.

According to the ISPR, a truck laden with explosives tried to ram the Spinwam hospital. However, security personnel deployed at the check-post outside opened fire at the suspicious vehicle forcing the bomber to detonate the explosives.

Three including two FC personnel embraced martyrdom while another two FC personnel were injured in the attack.

Sources add that the third fatality was a patient at the hospital. A nearby building also collapsed due to the explosion.
