Co-chairman of American Muslim Democratic Caucus Fayaz Hussain admitted in Hospital

DALLAS:The Co-Chairman of American Muslim Democratic Caucus, (a recognized caucus of Democratic Party for Muslims) and a prominent community leader Mr. Syed Fayyaz Hassan is admitted to a local hospital due to his sudden illness.

According to initial medical reports, he has pulmonary embolism (blood clots in lungs) in both sides of his lungs.

He has survived a possible severe illness or a serious medical condition. According to doctors treating him, he is in a stable condition and is in recovery now.

A large number of political, social and community leaders in US and in Dallas Fort Worth area have contacted his family to enquire on the health and well-being of Mr. Hassan.

Syed Fayyaz Hassan is one of the founding leaders of American Muslim Democratic Caucus, which was formed to provide a unified political platform to Muslims in US and for unified political voice for Muslim’s civil rights and equal citizenry.

Among people called his hospital and enquired for his health are US congress members, and several other elected officials from Democratic Party.

Syed Fayyaz Hassan is still in the hospital where he is provided the essential health care.
