MUNICH: Pakistan will raise its concern of Afghan soil being used for terrorism in the country at Munich Security Conference.

Speaking with Geo News, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, who will speak on countering radicalization and extremism in the conference, said that he will particularly raise the issue of recent terror attacks in Pakistan orchestrated in Afghanistan which claimed lives of more than a hundred countrymen.

"In the last week, we had seen terror attacks one after another which affected all four of our provinces. I will highlight it," he said. "Afghanistan and Pakistan have to work jointly to address this issue. Terrorists are attacking us by using their soil".

On the question of Afghan President Ashraf Ghani's continued ire on Pakistan, the defence minister said that Ghani is forced to make anti-Pakistan remarks as he does not enjoy strong political capital.

"I think the anti-Pak rhetoric is due to the lack of political experience from the Afghan side. There is no other solution than a joint collaboration on such important issues," he said.
