Pakistan Stock Market records highest close despite border tension

KARACHI: Pakistan Stock Exchange’s 100 index closed in green at 40,541. This is 100 index’s historical highest close.

100 index gained 246 pips during the day. Local and foreign investors traded 436 million shares of 388 companies. 278 companies share prices surged, 105 declined and 8 companies’ shares closes without any change.

According to market sources active trading suggests investors have confidence in market fundamentals.
