World Animal Day: Let’s promise to take care of our furry friends

Today, October 4, marks the World Animal Day – a day when the world unites to champion the cause of animals, when wildlife lovers from around the world raise awareness about animal rights and welfare.

The World Animal Day takes place on the feast day of St Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals. Across the world, thousands of events are being held to celebrate the importance animals hold in our lives.
