Lady Gaga reveals her deepest secret

Hollywood singing icon Lady Gaga is not only blessed with a fiery set of singing skills, she also has guts to put her pain before the world.

In her interview with NBC’s show Today, the Hollywood singer revealed she suffers from a mental illness, Posttraumatic Stress disorder, simply known as PTSD.

"I suffer from PTSD, I've never told anyone that before, so here we are,” she was quoted as saying in her interview.

Lady Gaga said that she is grateful to the kindness shown to her from doctors, family and friends. She said that kindness has been her saviour.

This is not the first time Gaga has shed light on her personal afflictions and her journey through them. In an earlier interview with Howard Stern, she disclosed that she was raped at age 19.

She had also released a song ‘Til it happens to you’ in an attempt to bring attention to the plight of sexual assault survivors.

PTSD is a mental condition that involves mental trauma after an incident such as sexual assault, death of a close one, war, natural disasters etc.
