KARACHI: In a brutal killing, a young man and a woman were murdered with a cleaver in the Nazimabad area of the metropolis early on Friday, with the police terming the murder an act of ‘honour killing’.

The deceased have been identified as 22-year-old Sajid and 20-year-old Kulsoom who were allegedly killed by the girl’s family members, said police officials.

Both victims suffered fatal wounds to their necks and died due to excessive bleeding.

Speaking to Geo.tv, SP Gulberg Bashir Brohi said the incident was likely an ‘honour killing’ which occurred at the girl’s family home.
