A UFC superfight between former champions Brock Lesnar and Jon Jones may be on the cards.

Both the stars have showed their willingness to face off against each other, in what could be one of the biggest fights in UFC history.

Jones, a former light heavyweight champion, revealed during a recent Facebook Live chat that he would love to take on Lesnar, who is back in professional wrestling after his return to the Octagon at UFC 200 last year.

When contacted for a response, Lesnar made his intentions clear.

"Would I fight Jon Jones? Anytime, anywhere," the former heavyweight champion told the Associated Press.

“Right now he should be worried about D.C. on Saturday night," Lesnar added a word of advice for Jones.

"He's a massive dude," Jones said about Lesnar in his Facebook chat. "It would be a massive draw, really big for the sport. It would be a great challenge. That's a big old boy. I doubt Brock Lesnar would take that fight, though. I definitely wouldn't try to wrestle with him the whole time. I'm not going to tell you what I would do."

Jones is currently preparing for his rematch with Daniel Cormier in the main event of UFC 214 this weekend.

Lesnar beat Mark Hunt at UFC 200 last year but his victory was later changed to a no-contest after the WWE star failed a doping test. In February, Lesnar notified the UFC and the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) of his retirement from MMA.

However, any potential fight with Jones would only be possible after the 40-year-old Lesnar's WWE contract ends next year.
