Cricket world all praise for Mohammad Abbas

From a welder to being praised by the cricketing world – Mohammad Abbas's journey shows that hard work and determination pays off.

The pacer ripped through the Australian batting picking up ten wickets in Pakistan’s win in the second Test. Abbas was also clinical in the first math picking up seven wickets. For his efforts, he was named man of the match in the second Test along with man of the series.

South African paceman Dale Steyn was all praise for Pakistani bowler Mohammad Abbas after seeing his performance against Australia.

“I see a new number 1 Test bowler coming…Mohammad Abbas,” Steyn tweeted.

Former English skipper Michael Vaughn said Abbas “would get him out every time within 6 balls.”

Paul Collingwood agreed with the former English skipper, adding that when he faced Abbas “He had me on toast.”

Shahid Afridi tweeted Abbas is a brilliant performer in any conditions.
