Bollywood celebs in awe of Deepika, Ranveer wedding pictures

Bollywood superstars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh left fans and industry fellows across the world stunned as they released the first pictures from their wedding ceremony.

The celebrity couple got married in a private ceremony at Lake Como on Wednesday.

Late Thursday, the pair released two pictures from the event which was closed to the media. The pictures showed a smiling Padukone and Singh wearing traditional Indian wedding garb designed by fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.

Soon after the pictures were released, several Bollywood celebrities took to social media to congratulate the couple and comment on how beautiful their pictures were.

Katrina Kaif, Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Abhishek Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Aditi Rao Hydari, Shilpa Shetty, Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti Chopra, Bipasha Basu and Anushka Sharma were among those who showered love on the newlyweds:

"Wishing you both a world of happiness and a beautiful journey together. May the love and respect you have in each other, grow leaps and bounds. And welcome to the club," wrote Anushka who married Indian cricketer Virat Kohli last year.

Filmmaker Karan Johar shared a picture of the couple and wrote: "Love and happiness forever.....these are such a full of pyaarwala pictures! For those of us who don’t have a life partner it’s a very “haiiiiiiiii” wala feeling!"

Bipasha also shared the pictures posted by the couple of their wedding and wrote: "Love a great love story. So happy to see this beautiful couple ... together forever."

Several celebrities also commented on the pictures shared by Padukone and Singh.

Padukone is arguably Indian cinema´s biggest female star currently, and she has also broken into Hollywood, starring in "xXx: Return of Xander Cage" opposite Vin Diesel.

Padukone, 32, and Singh 33, announced in a joint statement last month that their wedding would take place on November 14 and 15.

The couple reportedly started dating in 2013 but have kept details of their relationship largely out of the public eye.
