Selena Gomez drops unexpected name of childhood crush

Selena Gomez opened up about her surprising first crush from childhood.

In a recent chat on Complex’s GOAT Talk, with singer Karol G, the Calm Down hitmaker revealed she had the "biggest crush" on Ice Cube when she was 5.

During the episode Gomez and Karol G talked talked about their G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time) rappers.

“One of mine was Eminem only because I grew up listening to him,” Gomez shared. “My dad was a DJ so he would remix all kinds of songs, and every time it was an Eminem song, I would just get so excited.”

Gomez went on to say, “Can I tell you my first one that I had a crush on, Ice Cube?” she said. “I had the biggest crush on him when I was, like, 5.”

Reflecting on her memory, she added “It’s so weird, but I just thought he would protect me.”

“I’m only saying it simply based on my childhood,” Gomez noted.
