Federal Budget 2019-20: Rs45.5 billion allocated for Karachi projects

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government unveiled its Federal Budget 2019-20 during the National Assembly session on Tuesday. 

The government allocated Rs45.5 billion for nine different development projects in Karachi. Minister of State for Revenue Hammad Azhar.

Under the Public sector Development Program (PSDP), the government also allocated Rs500 million for the establishment of Combined Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) for Industrial area of Karachi.

The state minister also announced that under a special package an amount of Rs10.4 billion had been earmarked for Quetta.
