Pakistan made one change to the playing XI, bringing in Shaheen Shah Afridi for Shadab Khan.
With Stoinis' injury, Nathan Coulter-Nile keeps his place in the Australian side, while Jason Behrendorff misses out. So does Adam Zampa, which means both teams leave out their frontline legspinners.
Pakistan lost their opening match to the West Indies and then went on to beat tournament favourites Australia. The team’s third match against Sri Lanka was washed out. Australia won their opening two matches against Afghanistan and West Indies before losing to India.
