Apple Inc is set to release the new iPhone 11 series later on Friday but tech geeks are already on their phones, restless for the new iOS 13 update that is scheduled to launch tonight.

The tech giant will open new software update's installation for iPhone and iPod Touch owners tonight, bringing ample new features that have unleashed a wave of anticipation amongst iPhone users.

The latest features will include the much-awaited Swipe keyboard, a dark mode, and an improved photos app, with additional options to edit videos.

Here are nine simple steps to get your hands on the upcoming iOS 13: 

Make sure your phone is connected to the WiFi and is on charge before you head on:

Settings > General > Software Update > Download and Install.
