Be fierce, models are told.
Well, German model Leon Dame took it one step further as he stomped his way down the runway at Paris Fashion Week.
Dame’s intense stride and stare had the internet buzzing as the model stole the runway after closing for French fashion house Maison Margiela in his high heeled boots, a sailor hat and a black jacket.
In the front row was also Vogue editor Anna Wintour, who could be seen smiling as the model whizzed past.
Leon, according to media reports, is a student of Theatre Theory and Politics at the Freie Universität in Berlin and plays the saxophone.
The internet though loved the drama he brought to the fashion week.
In an interview with British Vogue, the 20-year-old said right before he walked out British fashion designer John Galliano told him to "Work it!"
Dame said he and Galliano work on his character when he comes in for his initial fitting.
“The brief was pretty open: ‘Walk!’ It all happened when I first saw my outfit and started thinking about how to present it in the show. It started a few seasons ago when we were told to become characters. I loved that idea from the beginning and always tried to push it a bit further.”
When asked what he thought about the looks Galliano puts him in, he said, “I love all of them!”
