Nepra reserves verdict in price hike case

ISLAMABAD: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) reserved its judgement over increase of electricity tariff by 61 paisas under fuel adjustment, Geo News reported.

Eight Power Distribution Companies (DISCOs) including the Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) applied for change in the tariff for the month of May.

The case was heard today at Nepra after which the decision was reserved. The verdict may be announced sometime later today.
