Hareem Shah finally reveals who allowed her inside Foreign Office

ISLAMABAD: Tik Tok star Hareem Shah finally revealed who allowed her inside the Foreign Office building where she recorded a Tik Tok video that attracted a lot of criticism.

Taking to Twitter, Hareem shared a video message in which she urged people not to believe everything they heard or assume things on their own.

In her tweet, she revealed that it was a ‘high ranking government official’ who allowed her inside the Foreign Office where she recorded her video.

She also apologised for sitting in the prime minister's chair at the conference room of the foreign office. 

“I was passing by the Foreign Office when I got to know that the foreign minister is there. I’m a huge fan of his and he is like a father to me,” she said. “I wanted to meet him but unfortunately he wasn’t there hence I took some pictures and made a video in the waiting area which went viral,” she added.

Hareem urged people not to say things on their own or assume the worst about her.

“Please stop saying things that may prove difficult for my mother or sister if they have to go out tomorrow for any work,” she said.

Hareem had kicked up a storm on social media after her Tik Tok video shot at a conference room in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) went viral.

Netizens wondered who had permitted the Tik Tok star to enter such an important government building and make videos there.

An inquiry was initiated after Hareem’s video went viral to find out who allowed her to enter the MoFA building.

Hareem is no novice when it comes to meeting influential political figures. In the past she has met and posted videos alongside a number of politicians including Fayyaz ul Hasan Chohan.

In an earlier interview with Geo News, Shah revealed how she got access to such significant people of stature and power.
