Cabinet Division releases notification of change in federal ministries

ISLAMABAD: Khusro Bakhtiar was given the portfolio of federal ministry of National Food Security and Research on Tuesday, according to a notification from the cabinet division. 

Bakhtiar was relocated to the ministry after former finance minister Asad Umar was appointed Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reform. 

Sahibzada Muhammad Mehboob Sultan was relocated as the federal minister for States and Frontier regions from his previous portfolio of National Food Security and Research. 

Asad Umar takes oath as minister for planning development and reforms

Former finance minister Asad Umar on Tuesday was re-inducted into the federal cabinet as he took oath as the minister for planning development and reforms.

President Arif Alvi administered the oath to Umar at the Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad.
