The General President for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais confirmed exposure to the Two Holy Mosques by theft or assault is a form of banditry (Al-Hearaba) and corruption on the earth.

He emphasised that whoever tries to breach the security of the Two Holy Mosques will find strict deterrence pre-empting his attempts, and his efforts will lead to complete failure - Allah willing, and by His power - then by the vigilance of the loyal security forces of Saudi Arabia.

He said that the Two Holy Mosques were considered holy hence whoever wanted to harm them in any way would suffer, because Allah Almighty guarantees their protection.

Dr. Al-Sudais mentioned that the state would take care of the Two Holy Mosques and other Islamic monuments, by maintaining and restoring them, and by establishing exhibitions for them.
