KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) started the week on a bearish note as its benchmark 100-Index lost 106 points to close at 11,180 points on Monday.

Market got off to a negative start and failed to shrug it off till closing bell.

“Even refiners’ corporate results, which were quite lucrative, couldn’t cheer up the sentiment”, said a broker.

Trading volume stood at 45.2 million shares.

KSE-30 Index also tracked the main market trend falling by 161 points to finish at 10,711 points.

Lotte Pakistan changed most hands on Monday with its share value rising by Rs0.35 to close at Rs13.

Pundits say this trend may endure for a couple of more days.
