This imposition of the levy will make LPG expensive by 16 percent or Rs13 per kilogram, said the spokesman of LPG Marketing Association in a statement.
He said the new rate would be applicable from Wednesday and as a result the price of the commodity would shoot up by Rs13 per kg.
