ISLAMABAD: Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has, as yet, not issued a notification with regard to a tentative fuel price hike, which it was supposed to by (Friday) midnight, Geo News reported Saturday.
This red tape forced consumers to pay a higher price for fuel at one point and turn away at the other without getting a refill.
Earlier, according to government sources the prices of petrol were slated to go up by Rs4.15/liter and diesel by Rs1.50/liter. High Octane was likely to jump by Rs2.72 per liter.
The notification, which was supposed to be issued by 12am Friday night, has so far not been released.
