ISLAMABAD: In order to relieve businessmen, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the last date for the submission of income tax returns up till November 21, 2011, Geo News reported.
A circular has been issued in this regard.
The date has been extended to give more time to businessmen who find it hard to fill the returns out easily owing to their complicated format.
FBR Chairman Salman Sidduque while talking to Geo News said that Pakistan will have to improve revenue collection so that the world could know we are pushing hard to meet the set targets even after pulling out of International Monetary Fund (IMF) loan programme.
New tax reforms will be launched in December, he added.
