CNG situation being distorted: Petroleum Minister

KARACHI: Petroleum Minister Dr Asim Hussain said on Monday that some people were trying to fool the public about the gas crisis and were distorting the situation.

“Some people are trying to make money from the crisis and we should be aware of them,” Hussain said.

The petroleum minister added that some of these people were illiterate and some were educated fools who were trying to spin the situation.

The nation has been facing a severe gas crisis and protests have broken out in several cities.

CNG stations have also remained closed for days on end in all four provinces.
