Gold loses shine, price drops by Rs2,100 per tola

  • Price of gold recedes to settle at Rs141,200 per tola.
  • Price of yellow metal falls by Rs1,800 per gram.
  • Gold price increases by $14 per tola in international market.


KARACHI: The price of gold in Pakistan receded on Friday as it declined by Rs2,100 per tola. 

According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), the precious commodity settled at Rs141,200 per tola. Meanwhile, the price of gold fell by Rs1,800 per gram to settle at Rs121,056.

The price of the yellow metal increased by $14 per tola in the international market at $1,860. 

On the other hand, silver prices in the domestic market remain unchanged at Rs1,590 per tola and Rs1363.16 per 10 grams today.
