Meta-owned messenger WhatsApp is rolling out another feature for its desktop client bringing another improvement to the app for the users, WABetaInfo reported.

The latest feature known as "chat filter" is meant for enhancing the user experience by enabling them to organise and manage their chats in a better way.

It is currently being released for some beta testers who use an updated version of WhatsApp Web.

As shown in this screenshot, a new row is placed at the top of the chat list screen and it includes new important filters to allow users to categorise their conversations.

This feature presents new filters to users with the goal of simplifying the administration and arrangement of their WhatsApp Web conversations.

The new row, which sits at the top of the chat list screen, includes useful filters like as "Unread," "Contacts," and "Groups," which allow users to quickly access particular chat categories.

It is noteworthy to emphasise that those customers who have previously registered for the official web client beta programme are currently able to access this function, which gives them access to special capabilities.

The feature will be rolled out to additional users over the coming days.
