Football royalty: Ronaldo, Beckham, Mbappe shine at star-studded NBA Paris event

With the Cleveland Cavaliers locked horns with the Brooklyn Nets at the Accor Arena in Paris, France, the cameras and fans, however, were surprised by prominent faces from football who attended the star-studded National Basketball Association (NBA) event in the French capital.

Football legends Ronaldo Nazario and David Beckham linked up at the game with the French striker Kylian Mbappe also attending the star-studded event.

Beckham took to social media to share a courtside picture of himself with Ronaldo and French-American basketball player Tony Parker.

“Great night in Paris,” read the caption on Beckham’s Instagram post.

Earlier in the day, the former English footballer also brushed shoulders with Mbappe with the duo embracing each other and seemingly having a pleasant interaction before the game, goal.com reported.

Following the match which saw the Cavaliers triumphing over the Nets, the Paris Saint-Germain star met Ronaldo — further cementing the evening's status as a celebration of football greatness.

Mbappe — known for his love of basketball —  has shown his appreciation for the game by regularly being spotted at NBA games and has a particular fondness for the Los Angeles Lakers as he enjoys a close friendship with basketball great LeBron James, reported clutchpoints.com.

With the football stars converging on the courtside, the NBA Paris match served as a forum for sports legends to discuss their common interests. The presence of Mbappe, Ronaldo, and Beckham lit up the arena, leaving fans with priceless memories and underscoring the appeal and unanimity of sports on a global scale.
