A Bikeathon will be held on January 28 (Sunday) to raise awareness about street harassment faced by women and girls in Karachi.

Bikeathon, an event in which participants cycle a long distance, is being organised by Aahung, a Karachi-based non-governmental organisation working on promoting women's rights and health.

Biking groups will cycle from Hotel Metropole (Shahra-e-Faisal) to Bagh Ibn-e-Qasim (Seaview) to raise awareness for the prevention of street harassment faced by women and girls.

The event is being held with the slogan "Exercising her right to public spaces". The participants have been asked to gather at Metropole at 7:45am and Bikeathon will begin at 8:00am. The groups will gather at the endpoint, Bagh Ibn-e-Qasim at 8:30 am.
