The tech world is abuzz with talk about the new Apple Vision Pro as some people are already fans of the gadget, while others are more sceptical.

Regardless of where people stand, everyone seems to be invested in the discussion. It's even caught the attention of Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who recently tested out the headsets himself.

Some speculate that Zuckerberg was motivated to do so because he wasn't too thrilled about all the attention that Apple was getting as the Vision Pro is currently the biggest competitor of Meta’s Quest 3 VR headsets, after all.

In a video that he shared on Instagram, the tech mogul concluded that while the Apple Vision Pro features some top-notch specifications, the Meta Quest is faster, superior, more affordable, and overall better.

Some might say that Zuckerberg's comments come across as a bit bitter, given the intense competition between the two companies.

In the Instagram video, he compares the Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest 3.

After a few minutes of testing, the Meta chief declares that the Quest 3 is not only cheaper but also superior in every way to its competitor.

"I don't just think that Quest is the better value, I think Quest is the better product, period," he said.

Zuckerberg pointed out the trade-offs Apple made to fit a high-end display into a wearable device, highlighting the Quest 3's lighter design, more flexibility, wider field of view, 120g lighter weight, and better motion performance, all of which complement its wireless design.

Finally, Zuckerberg revealed the price difference between the Quest 3 and the Vision Pro, saying that the Quest 3 was "seven times less expensive."
