Juventus loanee opens up on his first meeting with Cristiano Ronaldo

Recalling his first meeting with renowned soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo, Juventus star Matias Soule, who is on loan to Serie A club Frosinone, said that he was surprised by how “good a person” he was.

Soule, 20, is considered one of the brightest young talents in the world as the Argentinian has scored 10 goals and provided two assists in Series A so far with Frosinone and stands as one of their key players.

Ronaldo joined Juventus in 2018 after leaving Real Madrid and stayed with the Italian club till 2021, after which he rejoined Manchester United in one of the most memorable transfers of all time.

Recalling his first meeting with Ronaldo, Soule revealed that he couldn’t believe how good of a person the Portuguese as despite not knowing him, he sat next to him and talked for a while.

“I was surprised by how good a person he was. I didn’t know him, but I heard what was said about him. He is a genius. I remember that one day we went to eat and he sat next to me, I hadn’t spoken to him at all. They all left and he continued telling me things, about the cars he had, what Madrid was like,” Soule said as quoted by Cadena SER.

Being an Argentinian, Soule has also met with Lionel Messi during international duty and the 20-year-old also revealed what it was like when he first wet the 2022 World Cup winner.

“I arrived later and when I entered the rooms he came out just to say hello. I said I wouldn’t wash my hand anymore. I didn’t talk much, but you can see that he’s a good guy,” Soule noted.

The 20-year-old also stated that the biggest dream of his career is to play for Real Madrid and win the Champions League.

“A tall, tall dream would be to play for Real Madrid, as a child I always dreamed of it. Also winning a Champions League,” he added.
