The Dance Mom alums JoJo Siwa and Abby Lee Miller’s friendship is still going strong years after their exit.

During the highly anticipated reunion special Dance Moms: The Reunion in New York on Thursday, April 25, Siwa talked about her instructor Miller, who did not attend the event.

"Abby, honestly, my relationship is great," Siwa told People Magazine. "I talk to her on a weekly basis. Great human in my life."

Moreover, an insider revealed to the outlet that some cast members asked to attend the event on one condition: 'Miller must not be involved'.

"At this point everyone has gone through different eras, had time to reflect and there’s been a lot that Abby put them through emotionally and physically and they just didn’t want to relive that," the source revealed in the month of March.

As per the source, Miller was never given an invitation to the event.

Furthermore, the other costars that reunited for the special event were Chloé Lukasiak, Brooke Hyland, Paige Hyland, Kendall Vertes, and Kalani Hilliker while there were a few missing faces, like Maddie Ziegler and her sister Mackenzie Ziegler.

According to International Business Times, former costar Gianna Newborg who placed second on Season 2 of Abby’s Dance Moms spinoff series Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition, said she hates Miller on her YouTube channel in 2017, “If I’m being completely honest she is an evil b****.”

Gianna went on to claim that Abby was “extremely disrespectful” to both her and her mother Cindy during the show. “I wish that I could go on that show right now at this age because I would not take a single word that woman said,” she said.

For those unversed, Abby Lee Miller is an American dance instructor who founded the Abby Lee Dance Company. She appeared on the reality television show Dance Moms from 2011 to 2019.

She has been reportedly accused by many costars for mistreating them during the show.
