Sean 'Diddy' Combs' legal team has four lawyers who claim in their latest motion that the embattled music mogul is "innocent."
In New York court, they argued their client's innocence by alleging the federal prosecutors were wrong in describing the 'freak-offs' tapes as "elaborate and produced sex performances."
Instead they are a “private ****** activity between fully consenting adults in a long-term relationship," as his defense team claimed which saw those videos.
Page Six reported that Diddy's ex, Cassie Ventura, is believed to be featured in those tapes, which the rapper's attorneys claim "their full exculpatory value cannot be investigated and used unless they are electronically produced.”
In November 2023, she accused the 55-year-old of rape and physical abuse after being in an on-and-off relationship with him for over a decade but called it quits in 2018.
But, in the wake of viewing those videos, the rapper's attorneys claim she "not only consented but thoroughly enjoyed herself," adding, "she was a willing participant in her private sex life with Mr Combs.”
However, The Post reported that it's unclear how the lawyers concluded that the woman—who is referred to as Victim-1 in the court documents—alleged pleasure in the clips.
Sean's legal team also claimed that the recordings “directly refute the allegations that Mr Combs kept these videos as ‘collateral'” because they were alleged “not on Mr Combs’ devices” and “not seized from his homes.”
They alleged Cassie “kept these videos on her own device for years and produced them for the government herself."
Last September, Sean was arrested, and he remains locked up at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center in New York.
