Eton is the college long associated with the royal family. Many royals were educated there, including Prince Harry.

But the Duke of Sussex's experience in the elite institution was anything but good.

In past interviews, the father-of-two has been vocal about his several letdowns while at the college.

For example, the 40-year-old told 60 Minutes in 2023 that there was a 'hurtful' moment when his elder brother, Prince William, told him to act if they didn’t know each other in school.

“I couldn’t make sense of it. I was like, ‘What do you mean? We’re now at the same school,’” Harry said.

In his memoir Spare, the prince also wrote that he opted for sports to vent his frustration of feeling like an outsider there.

“Sport, I decided, would be my thing at Eton," he continued. “I was a dry who occasionally got wet. I played every dry sport, though rugby captured my heart.”

“Rugby let me indulge my rage,” he penned. “I simply didn't feel pain the way other boys did, which made me scary on a pitch.”

For his kids, Harry reportedly opted for a "very exclusive" kindergarten in Montecito, California, for Princess Archie and Princess Lillbert, a local school.
