Sean "Diddy" Combs' legal team has made an unusual request as the second day of his federal sex trafficking trial begins.

On Tuesday, during the second day of trial, the rapper's legal team raised eyebrows as they requested to keep Cassie Ventura's visible pregnancy out of sight from the jury.

Cassie, Diddy's ex-girlfriend and one of the prosecution’s key witnesses, is expected to testify about the alleged abuse she endured during their relationship.

Since Cassie is eight months pregnant, Diddy's attorney Marc Agnifilo argued that her current physical condition could unintentionally become the source of sympathy.

Marc told the judge, "Because I think there is a prejudicial quality."

"Pregnancy is beautiful and wonderful. It also is a source of potential sympathy," he added.

For those unaware, Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing a number of charges, including disturbing allegations tied to his infamous “Freak Off” parties, alleged sex trafficking, and the transportation of individuals across state lines for sexual purposes. Notably, all his counts carry sentences of at least 15 years.

The trial, which will run for two months, is set to feature testimony not just from the rapper’s ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, but also from other three accusers.
