Cassandra "Cassie" Ventura has given her side of things in a testimony during Sean "Diddy" Combs' trial.
Cassie, who previously sued Diddy for rape and more crimes, took the witness stand during his trial and revealed how she felt when he first asked her to join the infamous "Freak Offs."
Cassie said she was barely 22 when the rapper asked her to join the s*x parties. She recalled being "confused and nervous," per the Associated Press.
“I just remember my stomach falling to my butt. Just the nervousness and confusion in that moment," she said.
Cassie shared that she "didn’t know what ‘no’ could be, or what ‘no’ could turn into,” claiming that refusing the music mogul often ahs violent repercussions.
“Sean controlled a lot of my life, whether it was career, the way I dressed, everything, everything. I just didn’t have much say in it at the time,” she revealed.
“Sean is a really polarizing person, also really charming,” Ventura said. “It’s hard to really be able to decide in that moment what you need when he’s telling you what he wants. I just didn’t know. I didn’t know what would happen.”
She also noted that she was afraid videos from the parties would be leaked and uploaded on the internet.
Her claim echoed the statement of assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson, who said the apes were “souvenirs of the most humiliating nights of [Ventura's] life,” the Associated Press reported.
Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested in September 2024 and is on trial on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has denied all charges and pleaded not guilty.
