Johnny Depp gave harsh reality check about fame to his kids

In a recent chat with The Sunday Times, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor revealed why he doesn't recommend the acting life to his daughter Lily-Rose and son Jack.

“Sometimes kids say to me, ‘I want to be an actor, what’s your advice?’ And I say, ‘Don’t be!’" he told the outlet.

"I know what’s coming for them. I was chucked on that road and the only advice that I can give is, ‘Don’t allow anyone to make you something you are not.’" the Edward Scissorhands actor continued.

"They’ll want you to be a poster boy and it’s tempting—a lot of money. And if that’s the direction you want? Go for it. But don't let anybody choose for you,” the dad of two added.

It is pertinent to mention that Depp shares his children Lily-Rose Depp, 26, and Jack Depp, 23 with ex Vanessa Paradis.
